Second, if the government student loan is not enough there are other options. You can take out what is known as a private student loan and usually this is plenty to help you get through school and pay for your expenses. This is probably the best route after you get whatever you can from the government student loan.

Last, the other option is to just not get your education and end up living just above the poverty level, if you are lucky, for the rest of your life.
