The connection between Attention Deficit Disorder and television has long been debated. Television draws children and many children watch far too much television. They have become sedentary, couch potatoes if you will.

Some television programs are undoubtedly beneficial for children. It is when television is watched continuously, that it can hinder the child from being able to think and process information as they should. Some children watch television for as much as 5 hours a day.

This takes time away from their school work or doing chores and even prevents them in some cases from getting the proper amount of sleep.
