We all have the same three elements to work with in order to fulfill our business dreams. We have to work with time, money, and expertise. Since we won't often have these at the beginning of our journey, we often have to leverage them from other resources.

Creating Your Wealth Plan

Before you can apply a wealth plan of any kind--you must take inventory of where you are.

Start by mapping out your ideal life:

- What makes you happy?

- How much do you need to earn to be happy?

- What do you like to do?

- Who will you serve?

- How will you serve them?

Make sure your dream big-you don't need any answers or even the details, you just need to have an idea of your dream destination.

Business Models for Passionate People

There are business models that will help you leverage your time, money, and expertise so that you can achieve your dreams faster and with less effort. Most people fail in business because they are using a business model that will never reach six-figures and certainly not seven-figures. And somewhere along the way of trying to increase the bottom line, they get miserable and find that they aren't living a passionate lifestyle at all. They wonder if they can truly have both. Here is a very high overview of some of the best business models that exist for anyone wanting to create a passionate and profitable business that allows you to also have a life.

Model # 1-Consulting/Coaching

A methodology of solving problems for a specific target market where you inspire and evoke change in the lives of others. This model is powerful because it positions you as an expert and is the basis for relationships that lead into other models such as information/publishing, innovation/invention and membership-based programs and businesses.

Model # 2-Information/Publishing

Sharing and charging for content in the form of audio, print, web, and more. This model has exploded in the last decade and is one of my favorite models for women because of the minimal upfront cost and risk involved-yet high return when you do it right.

Model # 3-Real Estate

Real Estate is one of the wealth building tools of the wealthy because where else can you buy anything for a small percentage of the price and have it appreciate a long the way.

Model # 4-Innovation/Invention

Creating a product or service that doesn't previous exists that solves the problems. This is a business model within itself depending on the demand of what you create-but it definitely must be integrated into everything you do.

Model # 5-Networks/Membership-Based

This type of business model leverages time, money, and expertise. It is one of my favorites because it gives you immediate expert status and your leverage to attract and create joint ventures is endless.

Model # 6-Direct Selling/Network Marketing

These are businesses with an established brand. The products and services are also already created. I also include franchises here. I love them because you can leverage years of research, knowledge and plug into support of motivated uplines.

Building Passionate Teams

It is so important to think "team" when you are trying to accomplish your dreams. If the idea of pursuing a new dream strikes fear in your heart, it is totally normal.

Know that with support and a team of talented individuals on your side, you will achieve your dreams faster. Most of all teams give you the accountability you need to keep pushing yourself to learn new things and solve the problems that you encounter.

First and foremost, always look for people who share your passions and who energize you. Here are just a few people you will need to add to your team over the years as you build your dream lifestyle:

Creating Systems for Dream Leverage

Creating systems in your life and in your business is one of the single most important steps you can take to achieve your dreams without all the drama. You know the drama I am talking about---working too many hours, not enough income coming in, missing deadlines, customers not happy, your not happy... you get the idea. Systems allow you to have that smooth lifestyle that most people visualize when they picture their ideal life.

Systems are also the key to leverage and all successful people understand that leverage is the one true key to your sanity and your financial success.

After years of coaching women writers and entrepreneurs I know that we as women are our own worst enemy when it comes to accomplishing our dreams. We will believe myths about anything and everything far too easy and we begin to sway the very minute we experience a tinge of guilt.
