It requires financial support to fight in battlefield and raid. However, it is not so easy to make money for the students without much time. So how to make best useful of bit of time or space to earn a little money? Now I will talk about my personal opinion:

Firstly I strongly suggest poor kids (like me) not to blacksmithing, projects, tailoring or enchanting and so on, but regard double gathering with herb & mining as the best choice. it is really not necessary to practice peeling Unless you have got the knife which is capable of +10 and +5 peeling . It also can't make much money for you. Even if you peel dragon scales in the later stage, you won't make much more money than by mining.

The first is to kill monsters step by step. There are not many words to say about this point. Mage and Rouge can do this job easily, as they can AOE. My sword thief can drag four monsters of 55+ simultaneously, than impulse + hide + brandish the sword crazily. It never does CD of impulse or hide, just brandishes the sword (2 min of CD). Personally I think the efficiency is good. I only beat human shaped monsters, as runecloth requires reputation and bandage. There are always some people purchasing them, usually at 1.2G/group. They are selling well. Besides, you can try to drop some green or blue colors of 16-grid bag to make some money. Purple is also available. Recently, an account number has gained a life badge, a fate and a purple gun (with the name forgotten). For mage, It is no need to mention . I envy its speed very much. It is better to kill monster in where boxes can be refreshed. Have a look after a few days! It is profitable to open the boxes!

The second is mining. I recommend a nice place, the snow valley above the Tarren Mill, where has not so much task and intensively gathers of mines and herbs. Most of the mines are iron ore and mystrile. Occasionally you can find gold and silver. As there is a big consumption of iron grenades because the ores of our server have been selling well. As for the thorium, I will dig when I meet it, but won't dig especially for it, because the outputs of iron and mystrile are much more than thorium. When you are waiting for a battlefield, it is good to dig mines instead of beating monsters. Helpful hints: as most of the adversaries are not higher than grade 40, just let them go!

Third is to kill the flame elements in Arathi Highlands. It's price on our server is 3G. The disadvantage is in where too much people demand it. If you are sleepless in the whole night, go ahead! Maybe you can get a little golden horse in case no one competes with you! No exaggeration! (I give up that place, as I will sleep after 11pm and there are too much people at this time.) The best time is "the second half of the autumn night, when the moon has fallen down, the sun hasn't risen, only a dark blue sky is left; everyone has fallen asleep. Except the ones fighting for elements in Arathi. You will be astonished (big surprise) if only you can stay up late or all night.

Fourthly, I will have a looking in AH. For example, some commodities are very cheap before the server is repaired, so bid them now but without a fixed price because no one can raise the price during maintenance. Maybe you can get a lower price when the maintenance is finished. The prices of the servers, which are fast at observing process, will become your servers' generally. For example, as our servers are working fast, the prices of Shadow and Natural resistance are much more expensive than before.

Finally, is to fight for coins and diamonds in the new copy Zug. I heard that even a mage can solo. 1 mage & 1 hunter can clear large quantity of small monsters. The prices for coin and diamond on our server are separately 10G and 25G, which are noticeable. I have never tried to refresh the small monsters there by myself because I am thief.
